Hello friends and welcome to my little corner of the internet! I’m the Gypsy and creator of the blog Gypsynearandfar.com. In my 30-something years, I’ve lived in 11 cities, 7 states, and moved 17 times. I caught the travel bug at a young age and never stopped going, which prompted my great aunt to lovingly dub me the “Gypsy” of the family. I became a high school social studies teacher where I share my passion for the world with my students. My teaching duties keep me off the road during the school year but in my free time, I do what all gypsy souls do best: WANDER. Follow me here as I share my life Near & Far!
